Product

One workspace for evaluating roles and building stronger applications.

Candidlyst helps you move from a pile of jobs you already found to a ranked list, a tailored application package, and a tracked outcome.

Why this exists

Candidlyst started as a personal frustration: too many bookmarked jobs, no reliable way to know which one deserved the next two hours, and too much manual tailoring repeated over and over.

The first problem it solved was prioritization. Paste in a batch of jobs and get them ranked by actual fit, not just keyword overlap.

The core question

Which role is genuinely worth tailoring for right now?

Key features

Smart job scoring

Every role gets a composite fit score based on preferences you define and weight.

Editable scoring

Dismiss concerns, add your own strengths or flags, and update the score with your judgment.

Background Digest

A focused summary of your real capabilities keeps the AI from flagging false gaps.

Master Resume Bank

Years of achievements, metrics, and refined phrasing in one evolving source of truth.

Tailored generation

Build resumes and cover letters from your actual career history, matched to the specific role.

ATS simulation

Run platform-specific checks for Workday, Greenhouse, Taleo, iCIMS, and more.

Resume structure builder

Set section order, bullet rules, and target length once. Every generated resume follows it.

Resume bank reconciliation

Fold genuinely new achievements or metrics back into your master bank after finalizing a resume.

Application library

Every job, version, note, and outcome stays searchable and filterable.

Two documents, two jobs.

New users sometimes ask why Candidlyst uses both a Background Digest and a Master Resume Bank. They serve different purposes, and keeping them separate is what makes the tool more accurate.

Background Digest

The Digest is used only when a job is being scored. It is a compact, factual summary of your background: certifications, systems and tools, scope of experience, and important equivalencies. If you have deep ITIL experience but no direct ServiceNow experience, for example, the Digest gives the AI enough context to avoid unfairly treating that as a simple gap.

In plain terms, the Digest answers: does this candidate fit this job?

Master Resume Bank

The Resume Bank is used only when a resume or cover letter is being generated. It is larger and richer: full achievement bullets, metrics, phrasing options, complete experience blocks, and the best material you have refined across past resumes.

In plain terms, the Resume Bank answers: how do we write this candidate's story for this job?

Why the separation matters: job scoring stays fast and focused, while resume generation stays rich and detailed. One document validates fit. The other supplies the material for writing.
